Bring AltTrack Med to Your Medical School
Chapters are local hubs for mentorship, networking, and advocacy. Here is what chapter leads take on, and what they get.
We are looking for students to establish AltTrack Med chapters at medical schools nationwide. A chapter acts as a local hub for mentorship, networking, and advocacy for nontraditional student needs, which means the national mission shows up on your campus rather than only online.
What Chapter Leads Receive
- Leadership training and national recognition
- Access to exclusive resources and event toolkits
- Opportunities to collaborate with other chapter founders
Who Should Apply
If you are a nontraditional premedical or medical student who is eager to build community, create meaningful programming, and advocate for accessibility in medicine, you are who we are looking for. Chapter leadership is also one of the clearest ways into our leadership pipeline, which develops leadership and service opportunities at local, regional, and national levels.
Apply
Chapter applications live on the chapters page. If you would rather serve at the national level, the leadership application is open as well.

How Our Mentorship Program Is Structured
Mentorship at AltTrack Med is not one pairing. It connects premeds, medical students, residents, and attending physicians who each took an alternative route.
What Nontraditional Means at AltTrack Med
Starting from scratch, swapping career paths, returning after years away from school. The word covers a lot of ground, and that is the point.
Be Part of the First Class
Membership is open. Join a national community built for nontraditional pre-med and medical students.
